Explanations

With this function, driver and vehicle files can be uploaded to the application via an Internet browser - without using the TachoListener. Input media can be:

• VDO Downloadkey

• Other external data carriers with files that correspond to the standard format of driver and vehicle files

• directories (PC or server) containing driver and/or vehicle files

Before uploading, you can optionally select the driver group for driver files or the fleet for vehicle files. New files are then uploaded to these groups and the drivers or vehicles are created here. If the drivers or vehicles already exist and are assigned to specific groups, they are uploaded to these groups.

Special feature: Files older than 12 months can only be uploaded using a special function. Please contact your service partner for this. 

Exception: Files from customers in Austria and Switzerland can be up to 24 months old.

Explanations

This function enables:

• reading driver cards via a card reader

• registering a company card to be used for remote download in the company

• Remote download of driver and vehicle files when a valid company card is inserted in a card reader connected to the PC and a user is registered in the system.
