Driver Groups

Driver Groups Overview

Explanations

The overview shows the number of authorised fleet managers and the number of drivers in each driver group.

You can manage and add driver groups here. Each driver must be assigned to at least one driver group. In addition, specific working time parameters can be specified for a driver group, which then take precedence over the company's parameters.

Name: Name of the driver group

Standard: at least one of the driver groups must be defined as ‘Standard’; this is required for new drivers who cannot be assigned to a specific driver group

Number of fleet managers: Number of fleet managers who have access to this driver group

Number of drivers: Number of drivers assigned to this driver group

Driver Group - Master

At least one of the driver groups must be defined as ‘standard’; this is required for new drivers who cannot be assigned to a specific driver group.

Driver Group - Manager

The fleet managers who are to have authorised access to this driver group can be assigned here

This function can be used to assign drivers to the selected driver group

Driver Group - Working Time Parameter

Explanations

With the introduction of driver groups, the working time parameters are only relevant at driver group level. This means that the previous working time parameters for the fleets (vehicles) are no longer relevant.

The information relevant to working time is derived from the company specifications for working time and displayed here. These parameters can be customised for the respective driver group. If changes are made for a driver group, please note the following:

The following generally applies: individual driver group parameters take precedence over the company's working time parameters

Add New Driver Group

Explanations

This function is used to create a new driver group. In addition to the name for the driver group, you must also specify whether this driver group should be the default (only for new drivers). In general, the default entry here is ‘No’. If there is only one driver group, ‘Yes’ is assigned to this driver group as the default.
