User registration procedure
The creation or deletion of a user is generally done by the administrator of the application.
When creating a user, the administrator specifies, in addition to the user's surname, first name and user name, the user's email address, which must be unique within the customer account. The same email address cannot be used more than once in a customer account!
With the confirmation of the creation of the new user, an email is sent to the email address of the user at the same time.
In this email is a confirmation link, which must be clicked by the user within 48 hours. This opens a screen in which the password must be

For security reasons, the password has certain requirements that must be taken into account when entering it.
Once the password is sent, the user is successfully created and has access to the application.
In the following now the procedure in the individual steps:
In the "Management" menu, click the "Users" submenu. Then this screen appears.
2. After selecting the user type (administrator, fleet manager, driver), the data is entered in the fields marked with an '*'. Important: the email address must be unique within a customer number. There are no special form requirements for the user name. You must also select the assigned vehicle fleets and driver groups. To save, please click on the symbol in the top left-hand corner.
3. In the Users overview, the newly created user now appears with a yellow !, indicating that an email has been sent to the user with a confirmation link, but confirmation by the user has not yet occurred.
4. The user receives this email in his email account and activates his access to the application by clicking on the confirmation link "Activate user account". This confirmation link is active for max. 48 hours. After that, the administrator has to send a new email. Clicking on the confirmation link opens another screen for entering the password.
5. After clicking on the confirmation link, this screen will appear where the password is to be assigned, as well as the password confirmation.
The password must meet the following requirements: at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 special character, 1 number, no spaces, length 8 - 24 characters, it must not contain "abcd" or "1234".
Clicking "Save" (at the top left of the screen) completes the registration.
6. The newly created user will now see a green confirmation tick in the "Log in" section, which completes the registration process.
Special features in the user administration
Creating an administrator as a User
The administrator has the most comprehensive access rights within the application. Therefore, no selection of fleets is required here either.
Registration email not answered within 48 hrs
If the user has not answered the registration email within 48 hours, the corresponding line in the user overview will be highlighted in red (see example). Then it is necessary to send a new email to complete the registration. This is done by clicking on the line, then the user data screen appears, and there is the link to resend the registration email.
Creating a driver as a User
A driver can then be created as a user if he is created as a driver in the application. As a user, he can then access his own data, and only that.
"Forgot password" Function
In the user login, there is a link to click that will guide you through the steps to assign a new password.
Support User
a "Support" user is created as default for every new customer. This access is intended in particular for support from the service partner's support team. If the customer does not want the service partner to be able to use this access, for example, only the customer's administrator can delete this access.
